Emergency call-out in Stockholm
When the power plays up outside office hours, we show up. Our call-out service in Stockholm means a certified electrician is on the way to you within 2 hours – every day, around the clock.

How our hotline works
You call us — we grade how urgent the fault is, collects your address in Stockholm and dispatches the nearest electrician. You get a clear time estimate right away.
When to call the hotline
- Power that disappears in the middle of the night
- Water that has entered electrical installations
- Faults that pose a fire or shock risk
- Businesses that can't afford downtime
When is an emergency call-out needed? Common situations and causes
Electrical faults do not keep office hours. Main fuses blow when the whole family is at home and the hob, oven and washing machine are running at once – in other words, on evenings and weekends. Earth faults tend to appear when autumn rain finds its way into an outdoor socket. And in winter, it is often the heating that suddenly stops.
Whether a fault needs an emergency call-out is rarely about the time on the clock – it is about the consequences. A dead fridge and freezer on a Friday night, an RCD that refuses to reset, a socket that smells burnt: none of that should wait until Monday. A single dead lamp, or a socket that has stopped working in a room you rarely use, can usually be booked as a regular daytime job instead.
- The whole home without power in the evening – often an overloaded main fuse, or an installation already running at its margin
- An RCD tripping in rain or storms – moisture that has found its way into the outdoor installation
- A burnt smell or crackling sounds – a loose connection generating heat; always call straight away
- No heating in midwinter – a tripped circuit or a fault in the controls
- Water that has leaked into the electrical installation – cut the circuit and let an electrician assess it before anything is switched back on
How a 24/7 call-out works
From your call to a completed call-out, this is the route.
- Your call is answered immediately – around the clock, all year. We take the details: your address, what has happened and how the fault shows itself. You never wait for a switchboard to open.
- The case is prioritised. If the situation is dangerous you get safety advice at once – and where there is smoke or fire, we always refer you to 112 first.
- A qualified electrician heads your way. We are based in Jakobsberg, Järfälla, and for acute faults we are normally on site within 2 hours in Stockholm; farther out, you get an honest time estimate by phone.
- On site, the installation is made safe first. The electrician locates the fault, fixes what can be fixed on the spot and disconnects anything that needs a return visit – so your home is safe to be in meanwhile.
- Before we leave you get a clear summary: what was broken, what has been done and what, if anything, you should think about next.
What you can do while you wait – and what to leave alone
While the electrician is on the way, you can make a difference without taking risks. If anything is burning or smoking, call 112 first – everything else comes second.
Cut the power to the affected part of the home if you know which fuse it is, or switch off the main breaker if you are unsure. Unplug appliances that were running when the fault appeared. Use a torch rather than candles if it is dark, and keep children and pets away from the damage – nobody should touch a damaged socket or a hanging cable, even if the power seems to be off.
Do not attempt repairs while you wait. Work on the fixed installation – including makeshift fixes – may only be carried out by a registered electrical installation company under current Swedish regulations. If you are unsure where the line goes, the Swedish Electrical Safety Board (Elsäkerhetsverket) publishes clear guidance on what you may do yourself.
